Cutter's 1st Field Trip

Let's go to the farm!

Yesterday Cutter had his first kindergarten field trip! WOO HOO! The destination was Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale or Peoria. I was ready to take on the field trip experience from the parent side, rather than the teacher side. :) Cutter learned about corn & went through a corn maze, avoided the train, picked some vegetables, had some lunch, played a bit, and got filthy in the corn box. Despite him being ready to leave after about 45 min into it, it was a GREAT time! (THANK YOU COLLIN, for working sooooo hard, so that I can have moments like these with our boys!)

Cutter sporting the class shirt.

Getting ready w/ some friends for the big bus ride.

We made it!

He's checking out the popped corn cob.

Trekking through the corn maze.

Giving me the look, for not listening to him the first 10 times, that he doesn't want to ride the train.

Cutter picking some vegetables.

LUNCH TIME!!!

Doing some after lunch play before we head back to bus.

The filthy corn box...which seemed to be his favorite.

MAN, I am tired just posting this.
It's like I am reliving it!

The group shot...

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Field trips are soooo much better as a parent than as the teacher. :)
