EASTER 2013

Now don't be jealous...but Easter was here...

PETER PIPER in Prescott!

Actually, we celebrated the boys bdays with my family, so I decided to keep it more bday than Easter.  Now don't worry, they did get Easter baskets this morning, but they also got more birthday goods.

You just can't beat multiple bday celebrations!

Truth be told...I could really get into PPP being the traditional Easter dinner!

YUMMY!!!

EIGHT

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CUTTER!!!

We started the partying yesterday with his bday party at Crackerjax.

Then today it was all about donuts for breakfast.

Peter Piper for lunch with the cousins.

Then more pizza at Streets for dinner.

The cookie might have been a bit hot.

Oh Cutter what to say about you...
let me think of 8 things...

You are still such a sweet boy.
Your school work is kicking our butt.
You will NOT eat a hamburger with the slightest amount of cheese or who knows what else on it!
You're getting some sweet muscles from gymnastics.
You are WAY into watching basketball on TV.
You are STILL into straws.
You are dying for a mohawk.
You are LOVED tons!

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY!!!

A day late...

For the 10 year anniversary post!

So what do you do for your 10 year anniversary???

Well...you go workout, hit field day, race home to get your kinder's homework done and get him off to school.  Luckily, the husband is home, so we hit lunch, go get donuts for the older kid's class, go home, shower, make a last minute trip to Walgreen's, go back to school to celebrate older kid's bday at school.  WHEW...school is out, it's spring break, kids play outside, then as a family (because that's where being married 10 years has brought you) you hit Ajo Al's for the anniversary dinner, because that's where it all started!  I wouldn't change a thing!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!

The tooth...

Christian's front tooth FINALLY is out!  Let me just say, it's been like the most stubborn tooth, or kid, and seems like months it's been hanging in there!  Well today, at exercise class, Nancy pulled it out, and VOILA!!! Bring on the tooth fairy!!!

DISNEYLAND...the FINALE!

Whew...this has been quite the trip!  We spent our last full day at Disneyland.  It was the best time we have had there yet!  This was the first time we were going to park hop, so I was a little nervous about it sucking up time, but it worked out GREAT!  We got to hit some new rides this year, and the kids were pretty brave!

The first ride of the day was California Screamin!
This is the only pic I have of Cutter, representing his time on the ride.
(Christian and I were hitting Toy Story at the same time.)

Cars was AWESOME!

Christian's fave...Star Tours.

No time to stop...eat and walk!

First year we made the height requirement...
don't think either kid was a fan.

Checked out the Pirate's Lair Island.

Just waiting in line...

Cutter soaked after Splash Mountain.

Late afternoon ice cream snack...it might have fallen on ground,
breakdown coming, so we might have let him eat it off the ground.
You gotta do, what you gotta do!

We finally got to ride the Matterhorn too!

Leaving again, like last year, with light sabre.
This time only 2.

TA DA!!!  Trip over, and good memories for sure!

LEGOLAND...part 2

Well what to say about Legoland...hmmmm...so expensive...lame rides...so expensive, BUT, the kids had fun, so what's a parent to do?!

I will say, it was a good start to getting Cutter pumped up for the bigger, scarier rides.  He really surprised us, and went on some MANLY, well BIGGER BOY rides!

This kid kept me entertained, while we waited.

The good time sign!

But who are we kidding...this place was made for Christian!

OH, the building!

OH, the Star Wars!

OH, the Lego Chima!

All ready for 4D Lego Chima.

Speaking of LAME rides...
we had to lie about his age to get him on this!

In the end, he walked away with a new Chima toy...

And Cutter got some straws.
DON'T JUDGE...the kid wants what he wants!

Mark Legoland off the list...
WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK!!!
