WOO HOO, we made it to the beach this year, and for a week! We had a great time, with my BF from highschool, and 2 other families. Seriously, as kids get older, it gets better! They all got along, all played together, and were responsible for their own FUN! It was the BEST!!!
Well...it's certainly been awhile since I've posted. It's been partly lazy, and just busy...well more lazy. Anyway...it's summer now, so let's hope I can get unlazy, and get back to blogging! The best way to start, just a quick update of what's the what with the Kennedy's.
Since Christian's bday, I turned 39!!! So crazy, as I feel like I am 21. I had big plans, but ended up with most likely strep, so spent the day of my bday and weekend sick. Luckily, I had snuck the boys out of school the day before to do some pre-bday celebrating. We hit the movies and saw Rio 2.
Collin turned 37.
I went on the movie field trip with Cutter to see Bears.
Christian got his mandarin name that he goes by for the rest of his school year.
Cutter got to present it to him.
Not sure what it was, but it means "one who enlightens others".
The week before school got out, I let each kid pick a day, ditch school, and just had some one on one time with each of my boys.
The last day of school came.
We are done with 1st and 3rd, and both kids had a good year, and the grades reflected it!
Cutter had his best year yet, and made honor roll all 4 quarters!
Only took pic of Christian with his teachers.
Cutter didn't care, of course!
I guess that's the whats of what's been happening here.
Today is Christian's birthday...not just any birthday...his GOLDEN birthday! He is 7 years old, on the 7th! Once again, Collin had basketball, so we celebrated last night as a family. Christian chose Red Robin, and was not thrilled with being sang too! HILARIOUS!!! I brought him lunch today, he chose Subway. Then, of course, donuts for his class treat. He chose Mcdonald's for dinner, and will have a giant bday donut tomorrow. (Oops, I messed up that order!) I think he had a pretty good day!
His Red Robin dessert.
He gets a crown, but was embarrassed to wear it!
The before school pic.
OH, how we love this kid! He keeps us on our toes, but can be the sweetest most loving boy!
WOW...9 years have flown by! We are so blessed to have this kid in our lives, and celebrate him today! He is a donut loving fool, so to start the day he got a bday donut! We then took donuts to school for his class. I brought him Sonic for lunch, and he's picking Mcdonald's for dinner. We did a pre-bday dinner for him last night at Streets of New York. Collin is gone for work, so we wanted to be sure we celebrated all together!
