Tis' the season...I guess?!

So geez...it's been a bit in between posts and really, is it Christmas time already? I guess it is for the Kennedy's! Collin and I go back and forth with living in Anthem considering most of our life is in town. However, what you can't beat is the amount of fun family activities Anthem seems to have. Another plus, we love that whenever there is something to do up here it's nice that we are always close to home.

This weekend's activity...the outlet mall tree lighting.
I think it's usually this time of year, right before Thanksgiving, to get you in the festive mood. I think this is only our 2nd time going, but now that our kids are actually getting the Santa thing, having his presence there should do wonders for our kids' behavior! It's nice to now get to use the "Santa's watching you" line. We had a good family dinner out before then headed over and made it just in time for Santa to appear and light the tree. I think Christian had the best seat in the house. :) You can't go wrong with Santa, lights, and music!

Of course you've got to get ice cream...well yogurt in this case...YUM!

OH, and for sure wear out the kids with some playtime!

Well, well, well, surprise someone is not happy to go...

Seriously, he kept this up all the way home!

Like I said...good thing we live close!!!

Let the holiday season begin!!!

LEFTOVERS...

As I said in my previous post, Collin and I went crazy at dinner with all the food at PF Changs, so really by the time we got dessert it was more of an indulgence than a want. SO the sweet little boys we missed that night lucked out! We made sure to save them save of the delish chocolate cake we had! It worked as a fabulous bribe through yet another restaurant outing we had last night. Cutter and Christian could not wait to get home to EAT!

Really, do we expect any less from this kid?
You gotta love him!

HMMMMMM....

I wonder...our boys have a perfectly good bunkbed to lay their sleepy heads on...

so I wonder then...why do our children choose to sleep like this?

From what Christian tells me the mattress bed is more fun to sleep on!

Therefore, I thank my kids for my new exercise routine, because day in and day out to accommodate their new sleeping style, I am moving mattresses in the AM and in the PM.

I better get some good looking arms out of this deal!

It's peanut butter jelly time! WELL...just peanut butter!

Today is a great day in the Kennedy house...believe it or not we have a sandwich eater! Now we can add a new food choice to lunch time! WOO HOO!!!

BACKSTORY...my kids don't eat sandwiches...due to my early mothering skills I never really got into introducing them to my kids. I didn't think their little mouths could actually eat through all the layers. Weird, I know...but now 4 years later we have the plain peanut butter sandwich!!!

All good things come to those who wait!
