THANKSGIVNG 2012

We headed up north for the day, to my aunt's cabin.

The weather was perfect to be outside!

Someone made the best chocolate cake ever!!!

We had one meltdown.

And somehow...Collin still managed a nap.

We even made it back in time for Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving!

It was a good day!

Holiday Activity #2

The night before Thanksgiving, I thought we needed something fun to do.  So, we dressed the kids up in their only orange, and headed to the Suns game.  We even got to meet up with one of Cutter's classmates, making it that much more fun! 

We had pretty decent seats.

 

Oh, and some snacks.

 

We even managed to stay the WHOLE game!

 

It was a super fun night, and surprise, surprise, the boys were into the game the entire time!

Who doesn't love a field trip???

Ohhhhh....and by that, I mean the beloved FARM field trip!  Plenty of germs and dirt to go around!  This was my 2nd go at the kinder farm field trip.  Christian had a blast, and I was glad I got to be there to see him enjoy every minute of it!  GOOD TIMES!!!  (Oh, and thanks to Collin for tag teaming and having the friendship feast with Cutter today!)  We sure love that job of his!!!

Holiday Activity #1

THE OUTLET TREE LIGHTING

We knew going in that it was going to be crazy, so we put our best "go with the flow" attitude on.  It wasn't about Collin and me, but for the kids.  They had a Disney kid from a show they liked, and Mr. American Idol, Phillip Phillips, performing.  Fingers were crossed that it would be worth enduring the madness.  Sooooo, despite the crowd, Cutter's stomach hurting, starving kids, and actually leaving before the tree was lit...I would say it gets a rating of 3 out of 5 Christmas trees!  I still think it was worth trying though.

It was fun...it was hard...glad I did it...glad it's over.  :)

Halloween 2012

Collin now says that Halloween is his favorite holiday!  Hmmmm....could it be the new neighborhood?!  Whatever it is, we had a good one this year!!!  Of course there were school parties...I was in charge of Cutter's so no photos of course.  Collin was able to go to Christian's, so a few pics were taken.  The evening then started with a pre-party at the Schweigert's, trick or treating, Cutter giving up early, Christian having his buddy Elle to hang with, lots of eating, and coming back home to hang w/ the neighbors, and having a last minute meal.  LOVED it all, and had a blast!

Oh the thought of eating that candy makes me sick!

I'm sure I will get over it!  :)
