We are trying to get back to normal.

With Collin gone all last week here...

We were here sick.
However we managed to do something nice for Dad.

Let me just assure you this is a HUGE improvement!

We painted.
We got him a new desk.
We got rid of some old stuff.
We added some personal touches.

He was very surprised and happy with the change. :)

LOVE DAY

That's right, it's the LOVE DAY of 2011.

I made sure amidst all the sickness,
that the boys woke up to some valentine goodness.

The Valentine's Project

Last night we tackled Cutter's "family project". He gets a monthly project in kindergarten for the family to do together. Well, I have my creative control issues, so this time I let go and let him make the decisions. He needed to make a holder for his valentines he'll get on Monday in school. The only rule was it had to stand on it's own. I took him to Michaels and let him pick what he needed. We came home with a red bag and some stickers. EASY PEAZY!!! OH, and the best part, very clean. :)

Christian needed a bag too. We had to keep the peace.

The bummer of it all was today Cutter was to present it to the class.
Unfortunately, he stayed home sick. :(

My fingers are crossed that he can be there for Valentine's Day.

Well, the Kennedy's once again have not been eating out. Who knew that when you don't eat out, you get to buy things!? The pay off was a new coffee table from Cost Plus, which came in a BIG BOX, packaged safely...in this!!!

They sure were happy!
