I'm coming back...carnival style!

WHOA...really Sept. 15, was my last post!  That's by far the longest I've gone without blogging.  To my defense, I have become an instagrammer fan, so the blog has taken a backseat.  BUT...I am getting back to it, and what better way to start then with the Anthem Carnival.  The carnival comes here twice a year, and Cutter makes sure we don't miss it.  The highlight this year...the boys are getting old enough to be more independent on some rides.  They will go over and over, so Collin actually gets a break.  He really takes one for the team, because I sure am not going on any ride that is put up in a day!  We hit the carney yesterday, and the boys had a good time!

Glad I don't have to deal with the filth and germs again until spring!

 

 

IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

That's right it is...and we went BIG last night with the ASU vs. Wisconsin game!  The kids got lucky, and we took them.  YES...I said lucky...because Cutter's friend from school was going, so we decided to all tailgate, and let kids come.  It all worked out just fine!

We actually left at half, and finished the most important 4th quarter in the comfort of our own home.  Probably best, because I don't know if Collin could have handled that last half surrounded by others!  

You just gotta love a man and his football team!

BACK TO SCHOOL

Palm Springs 2013

Well...we tried something new for our last vacay of the summer, and not sure it panned out.  We did have a good time, but it started out a little rough.  We got into town at 3, check in was at 4, we ended up waiting almost two hours before we could get in our room!  Not easy...we tried to pass the time with swimming, a margarita, and snow cones, but after driving 4 hours, we just wanted to get settled.  Once we did get in our room, it was PHAT, but don't think it was enough to sell Collin yet.  Thank goodness we ended up at a great place for dinner...BURGERS AND BEER...I know, perfect, right!  It saved the evening, and we were ready to take on the rest of the trip in true vacay style.  Pretty much, we swam, chilled, played on golf course (luckily right outside our PHAT room), and ate some good food!  It all worked out, and kids had a blast, but we will mark it off our list, and add it to our "one hit wonder" of places to go.
