He's still losing teeth.

He's learned how to ride a bike too!

Sidenote:  This was totally self taught, as he has really lazy parents, who wouldn't teach him.

I guess we won't be getting parents of the year!

4th (or 3rd) of July Festivities

This holiday time usually consists of bbq's, pool parties, fireworks, and friends!  I think we managed to fit it all in!  Anthem is always a day early with the celebration, so we have had 2 days of FUN!!!  First, the Jones Family came over on the 3rd to watch some fireworks.  Nothing better than when the kids can play, and the adults can talk!  

With the 3rd festivities, it was nice to just have the 4th to do what we wanted.  Collin was off so it was GREAT!  I took kids to the summer movie, Collin's mom met me & picked them up, Collin and I got to go to lunch and hit a movie.  Then we headed over to get the kids and have some yummy burgers!  Of course, I have no pics of the 4th, but trust me when I saw it was lovely!

And they keep on coming....

Cloudcroft, NM

Last Wednesday we headed out to a family reunion in Cloudcroft, NM.  It was a GREAT time, and so good to see Collin's family.  They are one fun bunch!  To make the most of the trip, we headed out on Wed. after Collin was done with work.  We broke up the 8 hour drive, and stopped after about 5 hours.  Our kids sure love to stay at hotels...well even motels for that matter.

The jumping from bed to bed never gets old.

 

We were back on the road the next day, for an easy 3 hour drive to "The Lodge".

 This is our casa for the next 3 nights.

Tons for kids to do...

The water was FREEZING...the pool heater of course was not working.

Soooo, a lot of time was spent in the hot tub.

 

 They didn't seem to mind the cold though, and continued to hit the pool each day...even in the rain!!!

Horseshoes was a hit!

We even brought the scooters!

 

This pool table became the place to sit!

 

The happy parents, who did not have to entertain kids!

We hit a tasty joint for dinner.

Unfortunately...this poor kiddo came down with a bug.

Nothing like sleeping next to the trash!

With Christian down...Collin and Cutter spent some time together.

Luckily he bounced back, and we got to join everyone for the pre-Father's Day dinner out.

We headed out the next morning...boo hoo!

BYE BYE Cloudcroft...we had FUN!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Collin's father day was spent driving 8 hours, from Cloudcroft, NM (pic above) to Anthem, AZ!  We had a great trip, but probably not the best way to spend his day.  :)  Thanks Collin for getting us home safe and sound!  WE LOVE YOU!!!

So far...so good...

2 weeks into summer with these 2 boys, and it's been smooth sailing!

Memorial Day Weekend

We sure packed it in this past weekend!

There was Dairy Queen on Friday.

Camp Verde on Saturday.

Where Christian lost another tooth!

Avengers on Sunday & a trip to the waterpark.

(I don't have waterpark pics...Collin was nice & took them.)

We also had a little family bbq time.

Monday had more bbq & swim time at the Fowler's.

Did I mention we are floatie free for this kid?!

 

  

It's almost as freeing as being diaper free!!!

That's the weekend wrap up...we sure had fun!!!
