HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Collin's father day was spent driving 8 hours, from Cloudcroft, NM (pic above) to Anthem, AZ!  We had a great trip, but probably not the best way to spend his day.  :)  Thanks Collin for getting us home safe and sound!  WE LOVE YOU!!!

So far...so good...

2 weeks into summer with these 2 boys, and it's been smooth sailing!

Memorial Day Weekend

We sure packed it in this past weekend!

There was Dairy Queen on Friday.

Camp Verde on Saturday.

Where Christian lost another tooth!

Avengers on Sunday & a trip to the waterpark.

(I don't have waterpark pics...Collin was nice & took them.)

We also had a little family bbq time.

Monday had more bbq & swim time at the Fowler's.

Did I mention we are floatie free for this kid?!

 

  

It's almost as freeing as being diaper free!!!

That's the weekend wrap up...we sure had fun!!!

This has been a crazy week...way too busy for my taste, so I for one am glad school is out!!  Christian had a field trip to the splash pad, and Cutter had a field trip to Barros.  I have no pics of either.  :)  Both had end of year celebrations during school hours, so it was nice to not have to fit anything in during the evening hours.  I can't wait until tomorrow morning when we don't have to do one thing! 

Christian's shin dig was Wednesday morning.

I have one more year with my half day buddy.

 

 Since we were at school, we snuck Cutter out to see Christian.

Next stop...kindergarten for Christian.

Mother's Day

So, this pic pretty much sums up my mother's day.

I came home from some mild exercise, and said let's get my mother's day pic!

I think it pretty much captures the real me...

I am a NO FRILLS, NOT FANCY, GYM CLOTHES WEARING,

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET,  kinda MOM.

Thank goodness I have boys!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLIN!!!

We had a little bday celebration at DQ.

 Oh, do I dare do the 35 things about Collin???  

Maybe, just a top 8...35=3+5=8.  :)

1.  He loves his basketball.

2.  People up here tend to call him the mayor of Anthem.

He seems to know a lot of people.

3.  He is very cautious when it comes to money.

THAT IS A BLESSING!

(I still suck with money.)

4.  He is happy at home with us, sitting outside, watching the kids scooter.

5.  He is the homework helper.

6.  He tries to come to all things at school.

LOVE THAT!!!

7.  Is hard on himself when it comes to work.

8.  HATES running but will do Pat's Run with me!

Collin, WE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you, and ALL you do for this family!!!  You are my best friend, and can always make me laugh, support all my "redo's" and "here's what I am going to do's".  You are a FABULOUS dad, and a good friend to others!

THIRTY-SEVEN

WHOA...really...I am that old?!  No matter what the friends say...I am sticking to the fact, that it is my last year in my MID THIRTIES!!!  It has been a great day, and a busy day!  Christian ended up with a last minute playdate, so I got a pedicure, hit lunch with buddies, got some sweet gifts, took kids to well checks, had a great mexican dinner on the patio (that pic got erased :(...boo hoo), and finished it off with scooter riding out front.  ALL GOOD TIMES!!!  I could not have asked for a better day!!! 

I guess Christian was so excited to give me his gift.
