Today I officially no longer have a baby. :( I feel like 3 is still worthy of "my baby" status, but at age 4, I am willing to call Christian a little boy! Plus, it really feels like that kid has been 4 this whole time. Not being one for themes, this party was a no brainer! Christian LOVES trains, so we headed to the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park and had a good ol' time!

I FINALLY DID IT!!!

For forever, I have been saying that I am going to make only one dinner and everyone has to eat it! Well, with Cutter about to turn 6, that has yet to happen. UNTIL TONIGHT...I went for it! I really went for it, because I made a meal that I have never even attempted to make either child eat...SOUP! I got a recipe for taco soup I have been meaning to make since Monday. I took the boys with me to the store, and as I was getting the ingredients, I kept saying, "WE ARE HAVING SOUP FOR DINNER!!!"

It was a hit with everyone, except...
that's right...you guessed it...C.U.T.T.E.R!!!

I had no intention of actually making him eat the soup! :)

Today we put some green on the boys, and were off to celebrate our friend, David, who was turning 4! The celebration included: happy meals for lunch, water play, yummy treats, and some good music! Who knew turning 4 could be so fun?!

That's right...we hit Cali this past weekend. Collin's parents got a timeshare for the week and invited us out. The timing worked out, so off we were for a quick California weekend.

We did some swimming...

and Disneyland..

In awe on the jungle cruise.

Let me just say that the "happiest place on Earth" was much happier than 2 years ago.

Hmmm....now what to do with the rest of our week?!
