So still don't have my Polar Express pics out of the trash yet, so thought I would do a filler post in the meantime. This past weekend we got to do some good ol' fashioned caroling. The Stover's sure know how to do it up!

Thursday we took off after Cutter got out of school and we headed to Flagstaff. We were off to meet the Friedman's so we could take a trip on the Polar Express. It was the perfect way to start getting in the holiday spirit. The best part...SNOW!!!

Santa 2010

Last night we had a family outing to get the kids with Santa pic for 2010. We skipped last year, Cutter was not down w/ Santa, and really he isn't feeling it this year either. He is very selective in what Santas' he likes. His decision of whether he likes Santa or not comes down to the type of glasses they have, if they have glasses, how they look, and I am sure a multitude of other things he just hasn't told us. Right now the front runner for Santa is the one on Dora. He has no glasses! Taking this to mind, we had NO IDEA how this was going to go. Nonetheless, Collin and I were prepared, by this I mean dressed appropriately, in case we became part of the picture.

We were pleasantly surprised by Cutter's reaction. He was GREAT, and then the kicker. We headed outside after, while Collin picked the best picture. HOWEVER, he comes out and says the lady lost our pictures, so we had to head back in!!!

Holiday Happenings

Our tree took a good few days to get up. We took the "go in stages" approach. FINALLY, 2 days ago we got to decorating it. Since we lagged so much, I didn't make a production of it. We just picked Cutter up from school one day and got to it.

VICTORY!!!

We are still on cloud 9 here in the Kennedy House!!! Our Sun Devils came through in the end, despite a below average season, AND beat U of A!!! We took the kids and headed over to the McCarty's new house to watch the big event. BIG it was!!! So big that we didn't get home and in bed until quarter to 12, which made going to kindergarten this morning a little rough. The things we do for our sun devils! We made it in time to school, while Christian slept in til almost 10. I will say I am disappointed in my pics, because all my good ones were blurry....so sad!!! :( OH WELL...WE WON...WE WON!!!

Cutter's 1st Field Trip

Let's go to the farm!

Yesterday Cutter had his first kindergarten field trip! WOO HOO! The destination was Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale or Peoria. I was ready to take on the field trip experience from the parent side, rather than the teacher side. :) Cutter learned about corn & went through a corn maze, avoided the train, picked some vegetables, had some lunch, played a bit, and got filthy in the corn box. Despite him being ready to leave after about 45 min into it, it was a GREAT time! (THANK YOU COLLIN, for working sooooo hard, so that I can have moments like these with our boys!)
